Virtual Mediation
The arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 created a backlog of civil cases, the after-effects of which are still felt by courts across Florida today.
Recognizing that a different way of providing ADR services was of critical importance, Robert was one of the first mediators in Florida to offer online mediations via Zoom, thereby assuring Florida lawyers that cases could still be resolved although the courts were shut down.
Since then, Robert has conducted over 700 virtual mediations and has resolved cases all across Florida from Pensacola to Miami, in all Florida federal districts, and in 18 of Florida’s 20 judicial circuits.
Virtual mediation and other remote proceedings have been adopted by the Florida Supreme Court which encourages remote proceedings whenever possible.
